Abstract Establishing a chronology of events is critical step in reconstructing the palaeoclimate and it important for all types environmental records, including speleothems. Here, we analysed unique series flowstones deposited between 3.2 Ma (marine isotope stage (MIS) Km 3 ) 0.08 (MIS 5). The studied are located classic karstic environment, Ra?iška Pe?ina Cave south-western Slovenia. Further, detailed was constructed based on oxygen stratigraphy (OIS), combined with magnetostratigraphy U-series dating. Two curves were selected as reference records where LR04 record used global curve Mediterranean regional curve. profile divided into two segments separated by principal disconformity. lower segment correlated better curve, while upper These findings suggest that main factors controlling conditions cave area changed 0.8 million years ago.
